During the getaway we will travel to a unique destination that shows the strength and ingenuity of the Chinese people. We will leave in the morning for an hour long journey that will bring us to the fabulous looking "Dragon's Backbone" rice terraces.  There we explore the history behind the terraces and enjoy a delicious meal before making our way to Guilin for a tour of the largest city in the area.  There in Guilin the students will see what it is like for most people living in modern China.  Quite an eye opener.
