Experience the Culture of China Firsthand

Now there is a fantastic way for your teenager to experience one of the most fascinating countries in the World: China.  Your child will enjoy an exciting two week adventure at one of the most beautiful locations in China at a small international village called Yangshuo.  Yangshuo is situated South of the city Guilin in Guangxi province.  It has a scenic beauty unlike any other place in China.  George Lucas filmed parts of the movie "Star Wars III" there and even president Bill Clinton said that if there was heaven on Earth it would be in Yangshuo.

During this two week getaway your Child will not only enjoy learning about a new culture they will engage in hands-on activities like: Chinese cooking, Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Kung Fu, Mountain Climbing, Bamboo Boat rafting, and most importantly they will learn some of the World's most spoken language.  All of our activities are conducted by highly trained professionals and are optional for our young guests.

Also, we will do several different trips to points of interest in the immediate area.  All of these trips will have a local professional tour guide.  We encourage during these trips for students to take as many pictures as possible.

In addition to all of our  hands on activities, there will be many cultural exchanges.  Yanghsou is the home to several language schools for affluent Chinese teens to learn English.  Your child will have ample opportunities to meet other people their own age from all over China.  Chinese youth are facinated with the West and are always delighted to share knowledge of their culture with students traveling abroad.

All students will be housed in secure dormitories with private bathrooms. At night the entire building will go into lock-up. The safety of your children is the most important issue to us.  There will be at least four chaperons at all times during all of our events.  Also, we will take time everyday for your Child to call you and report home how their adventure is going.  Internet access will be available.
